The Hotel La Vecchia Fonte rises in Palau, in front of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, a few km from the Costa Smeralda.
For who arrives in Palau after a ferry trip from Genova, Naples or Porto Vecchio (Corsica), it is possible to reach the hotel on foot, thanks to its location just in front of the tourist port.
From Olbia airport or port: take the SS 125 and follow directions to Palau (driving time: 30 minutes).

Payment Policy
20% of the total amount will be required by bank transfer or credit card at the time of booking. The balance amount will be settled on property.
Child Policy
Children reductions when sharing the room with two adults:
- Children from 0 to 3 years: free of charge sharing the parents' bed or in their own cot. Baby cot provided by the hotel (to require at booking time and upon availability): Euro 15,00 per day (to settle on property); possibility for only one baby cot per room;
- Children from 4 to 12 years: 50% reduction on adult's rate.
Cancellation Policy
No penalty charge will apply for cancellations made 14 days before check-in. A cancellation charge equal to the requested deposit will apply for cancellations made between 13 and 1 day before check-in. Cancellations made on the day of arrival, no-shows and early departure will be charged in full.
Property Policy
COMPULSORY EXTRA COSTS TO SETTLE ON PROPERTY
- Tourist Tax (for the first 15 days of the stay): Euro 2,50 per person per day. Exempt from payment children under 15 years old, citizens over 70 years old, and individuals with disabilities.
OPTIONAL EXTRA COSTS TO SETTLE ON PROPERTY (on request at booking time and upon availability)
- Half board: from Euro 30,00, beverages included, in the best local restaurants, 50 metres from the hotel;
- Baby cot: Euro 15,00 per day; possibility for only one baby cot per room;
- Day use (untili 16.00 o'clock): 50% supplement on the room rate;
- Small pets (1-10 kg): allowed on request only in rooms with outdoor terrace/veranda;
- Parking space in the underground garage (10 car places and 5 motorcycle places): Euro 19,00 per night for cars and for motorbikes.
