"In timeless surroundings, in the midst of unspoilt sand dunes, overlooking the deep blue sea, there appears a large grey stone building covered in golden plaster.” Thus an Italian journalist described her arrival at Hotel Le Dune Ingurtosu and her sandy valley of Piscinas discovery.

Located on the south-western coast of Sardinia, between Capo Pecora and Capo Frasca, a mere 150 metres from the sea and in front of a beach a few kilometres long, our hotel is easily reachable from Sardinian seaports and airports. Comfortable tarmac roads lead to Ingurtosu, which is a disused and quiet hamlet now, but once it was a very active and prosperous mining centre.

The panorama is breath-taking when walking under the arch of the splendid, though now abandoned, Manager’s Building (built in 1875). Leaving Ingurtosu and driving down towards the valley line, one meets a 7 km-long not asphalted road in the middle of holm-oak woods and sweet-smelling juniper, with abandoned mining buildings along the way which move the traveller’s imagination evoking scenes from the past. The last kilometres show traces of an old railway where the tamped earth road leaves way to wood sleepers and granite slabs.

Our hotel has been built out of an eighteenth-century mining building where blende and galena minerals were stocked and transported by railway from Naracauli washeries at Ingurtosu.

The Hotel is located on the south-western coast of Sardinia, between Capo Pecora and Capo Frasca, in the centre of a valley, 150 metres from the sea and in front of a beach a few kilometres long.

From Cagliari: drive on SS131 towards Oristano-Sassari until you reach the town of Sanluri. From here continue to Arbus (SS126), then follow the way to the beach of Piscinas-Ingurtosu.

Payment Policy

20% of the total amount will be required by bank transfer or credit card at the time of booking. The balance amount will be settled on property.

Child Policy

Children supplements when sharing the room with two adults:

- Children from 0 to 2 years: free of charge if sharing the bed with parents; Supplement for Baby cot: Euro 20,00 per day from 18/04 to 30/05, Euro 25,00 per day from 31/05 to 13/06 and from 13/09 to 04/10, Euro 30,00 per day from 14/06 to 12/09;

- Children from 3 years old in third and fourth bed: Euro 40,00 per day from 18/04 to 20/06 and from 06/09 to 04/10, Euro 60,00 per day from 21/06 to 25/07 and from 30/08 to 05/09, Euro 70,00 per day from 26/07 to 29/08.

Cancellation Policy

No penalty charge will apply for cancellations made 14 days before check-in. A cancellation charge equal to the requested deposit will apply for cancellations made within 13 to 1 day before check-in. Cancellations made on the day of arrival, no-shows and early departure will be charged in full.

- Baby cot (price per day): Euro 20,00 from 18/04 to 30/05, Euro 25,00 from 31/05 to 13/06 and from 13/09 to 04/10, Euro 30,00 from 14/06 to 12/09;

- Third and Fourth bed (price per person per day, breakfast included): Euro 40,00 from 18/04 to 20/06 and from 06/09 to 04/10, Euro 60,00 from 21/06 to 25/07 and from 30/08 to 05/09, Euro 70,00 from 26/07 to 29/08;
