The Hotel is beautifully located in the heart of Alghero, overlooking the Lungomare Dante (a flat cliff suitable for sunbathing and swimming) and 1000 metres from the first beach. Close to the sights, shops, the Cathedral and the harbour. The bus station with its direct 15 minutes connection to Fertilia Airport, is only two minutes walk away.
Built in 1951, La Margherita has always been managed by Masia family. In 2010 it was completely refurbished and now contains all of the modern facilities that travelers require. La Margherita Hotel boasts 56 well furnished guest bedrooms. Each room contains as standard, air conditioned, in-house bar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, internet connection available in rooms (wi-fi connection in the lounge area and in the lower floors).
Two rooms have bathrooms equipped for disabled persons. There is a panoramic terrace, where guests may have breakfast from springtime to early fall, a solarium, a fitness space and a garage. A restaurant provides clients with excellent food and service with a discount for the guests of La Margherita.

20% of the total amount will be required by bank transfer or credit card at the time of booking. The balance amount will be settled on property.

Cancellation Policy
No penalty charge will apply for cancellations made 14 days before check-in. For cancellations made within 13 to 1 day before check-in 00% of the total booking amount will be charged. Cancellations made on the day of arrival, no-shows and early departure will be charged in full.

From Alghero airport (by car): Take the SS127 BIS, which connects the airport with Alghero; once in the city (roundabout), drive to the port and from there, bordered on the final stretch of the ramparts, to Piazza Porta Terra. Continue straight along Via Sassari. The hotel is located at the crossroads after the traffic light.
From the bus station (250 m from the Hotel): Go through the gardens, turn right and at the square with the tower (Piazza Porta Terra), then turn left and go along Via Sassari, until the crossroads after the traffic light.
From the port of Porto Torres (45 km): Exit from Porto Torres, take the road dei Due Mari (SP42), which connects Porto Torres to Alghero. Once in Alghero, drive to the port and from there to the ramparts, go to Piazza Porta Terra and take Via Sassari.
From port and airport of Olbia (150 km): Drive towards Sassari and take the SS 131 (the "Carlo Felice", which connects Cagliari to Porto Torres). Then follow the 131, until the exit to Fertilia. That road intersects the road dei Due Mari, and there you have to turn (left) to reach Alghero.
